BBC London TV and radio were recently over filming and interviewing the production team about the Guinness World Record being printed on our Agfa Anapurna M2050 printer.
The Creative Place produced 100 x 10 metre long banners which together form the world's longest photographic art at 1 kilometre for photographer, Jump4London, featuring a photographic montage of 109,000 images of people from all over London, jumping simultaneously against scenic backdrops.
We are proud to have been an integral part in the making of the world’s longest photograph, which was officially adjudicated by Guinness World Records in June, a month ahead of the London 2012 Olympics.
Now fully in Olympic countdown, we were asked by Ocado to create bicycle wheel discs and frame graphics for the PR photocall to launch a new fleet of special edition Ocado delivery vans, created by World Champion cyclist and London 2012 hopeful, Jess Varnish. The urgent brief from artwork to finished product was completed within a day and the cycle definitely looked striking alongside Jess – good luck in July!
Very excited to have been at the Museum and Heritage show this year for the first time. Our stand looked great – we had samples printed on different materials from our AGFA DTM machine, which certainly worked in attracting people onto the stand …and resulting in some immediate work and forthcoming projects to look at!
Russell Clark a highly experienced and well known project manager in the museum world who is working with us, met up with many of his customers and contacts who showed great interest at what we had to offer. Plus, our giveaway literature with branded memory sticks and carrier bags were flying off the stand.
I think we’ll be going back next year with a bigger stand!
